Green Building Strategy
For many years the University of Alberta has valued the development of high-quality, durable and sustainable buildings. The university's Green Building Strategy outlines a range of services offered by the Office of Sustainability and related partners to coordinate, communicate and expand the university's green building initiative. By acting on this strategy, the university will:
- Increase the number of buildings that hold a valid green certification.
- Educate building occupants, visitors and the campus population about green building design, technologies and features.
- Improve information systems, organizational processes and project management methods related to green building planning, documentation and certification.
