Get to know the green spaces
In March 2013, Facilities and Operations Shared Services – Administration were awarded a Silver Office certificate through the Office of Sustainability’s Green Spaces Certification program.
This team of twelve have implemented sustainable practices in their workplace, such as composting organic food waste, using recycled content paper, and discussing sustainability at staff meetings.
They view this certification level as just as start and they are looking to pilot a reusable dish program in the coming months.
We are proud to announce that this enthusiastic team also represents the first UAlberta Green Space to achieve Silver Offices certification. Congratulations!
